I was just browsing on Twitter when I saw that an artist I saw open for Logic dropped a new mixtape yesterday. Usually I discard openers as soon as they spit on the mic since more times than not, they're simply there to fill the bill; but Gamboi struck out to me as something more than that back in July. He got the crowd moving and after hearing his age (16 years old) I was thoroughly impressed. He's got one feature on the tape I know all of our fans will love, XV drops a verse for Top of The World as well as Jon Connor & Statik Selektah.
Listening to Young & Restless beginning to end gives you just a dose of what the Ann Arbor rapper Gamboi can really do. You can tell that even though he is young, he's been constantly grinding and really putting it all on the line for his passion in music. He can officially add a feature on College-of-Music.com to his extensive list of sites that support him. Can't wait to hear more from this artist, especially since he's from Michigan and I don't see enough come out of local artists.
