After XV dropped his mixtape Popular Culture, I was sure he was just going to lay low for a while since it'd be hard to top that last project; but thus, we have a new song from XV himself to show you. He dropped it yesterday on his Tumblr, and we couldn't be happier. This is just a bonus from Popular Culture that wasn't released with the mixtape, but Rise is definitely a song to ride to in your car with the system turned up. Production from The Awesome Sound is the type of crisp sound I like to hear when I press play on XV's songs.
He will be performing this song and plenty of other songs in their entirety at his upcoming home town show in Kansas, I'd definitely recommend going to that show if you've got the chance. Like his Facebook page and get at him on Twitter if you're liking what you hear.
